Das felsige Durchbruchstal des Dunajec im Pieniny ist eines der großen Naturereignisse in Europa. Der größere und schönere Teil davon liegt in Polen und ist schon seit 1932 als Nationalpark (10.000 ha) geschützt. Die Aussicht vom Trzy Korony - Okraglica (982m) ist berühmt und atemberaubend.
