Lake Gileppe
This freshwater lake is set in the midst of the ‘Hertogenwald’ (the second greatest forest of Belgium) and covers an area of 130ha.
This outstanding scenery is a wonderful place to walk and relax.
The water of this lake is a very important and essential basic element for lots of animals living in the forest.
While making a hike around the lake, one can fully enjoy its admirable and picturesque beauty with dozens of coves and hidden spots.
