Autumn is but a memory of nature’s vivid palette, only hints of which remain…the aroma of pies baking for the
coming Thanksgiving and the fragrance of wood burning fireplaces fill the olfactory imagination, as the golden
sunlight of this late November afternoon bathes the scene along a winding country lane in Clifton, Virginia.
