Although they stand opposite to Galata(Peran), one of the most picturesque and historic quarters of Istanbul,they don't seem to care much about it's glorious Genovese past of about two centuries of mercantile prosperity or the beauty of the imposing Galata tower at the northernmost and highest point of the Citadel.
They look more interested in future than past, exchanging oaths and promises of eternal love....
