Love Locks in Heidelberg

... are a special way for couples to show their love to eachother and for every single one towards the city by putting up such padlocks with their names engraved on them. Formerly there have been many of those on the old bridge but as far as I know they became together quite heavy. So not to harm the bridge because of the huge weight of the metal the city decided to put up a place aside the bridge where the padlocks are beeing locked now. The picture is just a tiny exerpt of them.
