an image for the imagination ... the burnt chairs and rubble in the foreground strong, the background depicting life the way it usually goes on ????

like the detail and texture in the chairs
would maybe of held the camera lower down so the dog is then in the wooden frame of the chair

a stray dog's chair is the road whose king he'll never be. he will be petted, then shooed away. if he's lucky, he might get fed. human feet won't ever be his friends. in the best case, they pass him by. in the worst, they kick. he won't ever reign, not even during the dog days of the year, but canis major, aka sirius, will always watch over him, so he isn't alone and the lava won't eat him alive… ; ) – – the correspondence between the fragile chair and the dog – so powerful, tender and also quite comic. a saga in a nutshell… greetings, sabine.
