Maybe according to "you" it is needed but one had better be respective to the ideas of the photographer.also cos maybe for him/her it was not "needed"!
After so many times and so many events and so many going and coming backs, i still dont think that people learn to make a criticism. All they learn was the motto "majority wins".
I am so sorry but u shouldn't say "needed".
This is not the right way, u r not a photo expert, maybe u can give ideas , advice maybe u can write the parts that u dont like but u cannot be the despotic judge.
And for the contra, u dont need to be sorry, u can click whatever u want of course, as long as the clickers don't esteem theirselves as the centre of the world while analyzing a photo.
BTW, this is not a portrait work.
Also, for the dustspots, i offer you to go and read some about film camera and film types.
This is again something related with the taste.
