Were we ever that young? :-)
An old photo I found, full of memories. Some joyful, others not so.
The world is different now.
But for a moment here we are forever young.

the magic of cameras -
things change, only to remain the same,
and our photos ensure the past will not be forgotten ...

Australian army ?
For some strange reason, it always seems that young soldiers look the same, whether they are from Australia, Israel, or the United States, whether they fought in Vietnam, or Afganistan, they all live the same, and unfortunatly some also die the same. :-(

Ye, the world is different now... Excepted our friends... along life.
You haven't change, Wayne : same attitude, same frankness.

Frozen in Time.
I think the less than perfect quality of this picture enhances the emotional content.
I like it!

How sad it is that we send our children out to fight for us. How sad that in todays society we still find reasons to send the children to fight. You photo is a reminder of what we did and what we continue to do.
Lovely work for the era in which it came.

It is a strange pic from my perspective, I like your expression on the right, it is thoughtful and humane, but the guys with the glasses on top are like masks, and I find that scary as it adds to the already depersonalized effect of the uniforms that erase individuality. Maybe it's European history that speaks too loud in my heart when I say to you all these things.
