Kastoria wird zu einer der schönsten Städte Griechenlands gezählt.
Die Stadt liegt, umgeben von den Gebirgen Vitsi und Grammos, auf einer Halbinsel,
die in den gleichnamigen See hinein ragt. Kastoria hat ca. 50.000 Einwohner und etwa
80 Kirchen. Die Stadt ist auch bekannt für seine Pelzindustrie.
