I was taking pictures at a baseball game when a player hit a foul ball into the seating area. A gentleman wasn't able to block his face in time, and got hit. You can see from the photo taken right afterwards that it was not a very good sight. A lady is covering her daughter's eyes, another woman is holding her hand over her mouth. The guy next to him ripped off his shirt to stop the bleeding. As bad as it looked, the guy was actually fine, and although for precautionary measures he left in an ambulance, he did thank the people who helped him and even shook hands with a few guys. This is probably one of my best photos for "A Picture is worth a thousand words". It was taken with a Nikon D50 and a Sigma 70-300mm APO DG Macro Lens. Hope you like it.

Perhaps that mother is slapping her daughter for not catching the game ball - just joking.
