Liegt zwischen Bribie-Island und dem Festland ca. 60 Km nördlich von
Brisbane. Bribie Island ist in etwa so groß wie Sylt. Ca.20% der Insel ist
bewohnt, d er restliche, nördliche Teil ist Naturschutzgebiet. Die Insel ist über eine 2 Km lange Brücke mit dem Festland verbunden und wird hauptsächlich von Australiern als Urlaubsdomizil und Altersruhesitz genutzt.
