I understand what you are saying in your commentary Anastasya. I think there is too much focus in gallery on paying homage to highly refined works and detail done with high resolution cameras and expensive editing tools. I think everyone knows I'm a fan of low tech. I just don't think there is much in this picture when it comes to composition or story that makes it gallery. I have seen excellent pictures taken with a 1,4 mpx camera. Sharp eye, artistic mind and cleevr editing can beat every professional. Sorry, not this one. Contra.Paul Grimshaw, 12.03.2006 at 19:28h
Hi, Sorry Ana with this one .. there are many things that are missing for me in this apart from nice colours and even the colours I find are quite diluted and washed out compared with a lot of other pictures in this style and these missing things are nothing to do with camera quality. The shortcoming of equipment can be made up for with a lot of creativity. Thats however what i miss in this picture. Its a sunset which also taken with the best equipment would not really be too exiting.Dexpix, 2.04.2006 at 17:29h

A beautiful view.Especially taken by a small digital camera, I think this is what coolpix 3200 can do at its best.
For photographers who only have very limited budgets and equipments for use, this one is done well enough.
Talking about photographing quality... well one can never reach the best till one gets a large number of money for it...thus I think it's not proper at all to demand so harshly or rate works by very high standard. I nominate these works not because I am blind or can't find any work by myself but simply try to get more works from different authors into gallery, and in addition if not so professional photographers will monopoly all proposals completely.
