The photo's atmosphere is superb! -
if you wait in the tree-house I'll be right over, but you'll have to tell me how to get there from the Yukon first ... :-)
Greetings from a little to the west, I think - R

Danny W. Wilson, 31.10.2005 at 6:59h

I seldom have seen such a wonderful light.
This pic is exemplary and therefore it is worthy for the gallery. Good luck Karin.

PRO,
Love the colors....quit spirit in the woods and the light.....great shot!

Vladimir Danilov, 7.11.2005 at 23:52h

A good light is not the main criteria to vote pro. Though I find the picture really beautyful, it lacks on something eye-catching dominata. Sorry, contra

Maja Weitering, 7.11.2005 at 23:53h

Oh, yes PRO

Vladimir Danilov, 7.11.2005 at 23:53h

@Karin D. Ludwig:
Darf ich mal um deutsche Übersetzung bitten? Leider bin ich nicht so ausgebildet im Hochenglischen.

Und danke schön für Ihre kritischen Kommentare unter meinen selbverständlich nicht so tollen Aufnahmen.

Karin D. Ludwig, 7.11.2005 at 23:53h

@Vladimir Danilow

If I were willing to communicate in German - I would have chosen the .de site to join in.
And if you feel uncomfortable with American English - I beg your pardon, - for there's MORE than Russia, Germany and Great Britain in this world.

Vladimir Danilov, 7.11.2005 at 23:53h

@Karin D.Ludwig:
Yes, mam... No problem, mam... I'm sorry mam... You will never hear me again, mam... Good bye...

Karin D. Ludwig, 7.11.2005 at 23:53h

Denken Sie mal drüber nach!
Danke.

Wen P, 7.11.2005 at 23:53h

Lovely capture of the seasonal light and the story of the treehouse. Your outdoor shots are always so stunning Karin, this one especially. Thanks to Peter for bringing it up for gallery.

Robert L. Roux, 7.11.2005 at 23:53h

Dein foto is sehr schönheit - :-))
I voted PRO ... !!

Luis Andres Hernandez, 7.11.2005 at 23:53h

PRO +++
Great!!

Kay Wölfle, 7.11.2005 at 23:53h

Just one advise to Ms. Ludwig: If You are not able to accept critcism on Your pictures You are better off leaving the community. The vocabulary You use in Your German statement at Vladimir is inacceptable and well worth an apology. Is this the kind of politeness You are babbling about in Your profile???

Rita van Deemter, 8.11.2005 at 0:10h

Congratulation Karin, well done.
Love, Rita

Paul Grimshaw, 8.11.2005 at 3:52h

Steven Aronoff, 15.11.2005 at 5:41h

Nice photo. The subject makes me a little uneasy, because the structure looks like a prison watch tower nestled in an idyllic woods. Neat effect.

Karin D. Ludwig, 16.11.2005 at 16:40h

Thank you ALL so much for the honor of making this a gallery photo and for your most lovely comments! I sure liked the pic, - otherwise I wouldn't have posted it in the first place. Nevertheless I doubted the success when Peter Mertz (thanks again Zacki!) suggested it for voting.
Thanks also to those who asked in PMs - NO, I won't follow (and haven't) Mister Wölfle's advice. *lol*
I'll be back with more...

See you soon - and many, many thanks again!
Karin

Karin D. Ludwig, 16.11.2005 at 21:59h

Last, not least... who do YOU think you are Mister Wölfle??? - Selten noch etwas BLÖDERES gehört hier!

Der Inbegriff von Herbst...vielleicht ein Jagd-Gemälde....auf jeden Fall typische Karin-Qualität.
