La The Merlin Entertainments London Eye meglio nota solamente come London eye ("Occhio di Londra"), o anche con il nome di Millenium wheel (Ruota del Millennio) è una ruota panoramica costruita nel 1999 ed aperta al pubblico nel Marzo del 2000. Con i suoi 135 metri, era la più alta del mondo fino alla costruzione di The Star of Nanchang, aperto nel maggio del 2006 e successivamente del Singapore Flyer, 25 metri più alto del London Eye.
Il London Eye è diventato l’attrazione a pagamento più popolare nel Regno Unito, con 3.5 milioni di visitatori all’anno.
Il London Eye si innalza per 135 metri all’estremità ovest dei Jubilee Gardens, sulla riva sud del Tamigi tra il Ponte di Westminster e lo Hungerford Bridge.
