In spring this small tree blooms with beautiful yellow pea-flowers in hanging clusters.
That’s why it is also called ‘Golden Chain Tree’ or ‘Golden Rain’.

It’s a very popular garden tree, but pay attention for young children, dogs, sheep and horses as ALL parts of the tree are poisonous and can be lethal if consumed in excess !
However, some wild animals such as hares and deer can feed on them without any problems.

Dutch name : Goudenregen
German name : Goldregen
Latin name : Laburnum anagyroides

yes, my parents' warnings still ring in my ears – used to be terrified of this tree as a child. beautiful but deadly – how utterly mean! ; )) lovely details in its sunny yellow petals! great light as always, and i like how you created depth by focussing on one cluster and the branch its "raining down" from, and set it against a background of both dark green and other bright but blurry blossoms! greetings, sabine.

Ganz fein Mark. Ich hab bei gelb immer Schwierigkeiten
