my hand and arm feeling a bit better - my ribcage still in so much pain :-(((((
thank you to all of you for your good wishes, mails, music, films .... it is so heartwarming. have been looking at your photos, but can't sit long enough to write comments. wish you all a good week !!!!!

amazing how gentle and almost southern – northern italy comes to my mind… – whistler can look during the summer! love the intense light! a good decision to present it in b/w. it brings out the beauty of the pine trees perfectly! hugs, sabine. p.s: great to hear that your arm's a bit better! sorry about the pain in your ribcage, though. it must make breathing, sitting etc. extremely hard and there's really so little you can do about it. a friend of mine once had a terrible cough, and when she got up one morning, she had breathing problems and a pain in the chest. pneumonia was her guess. but no, she was diagnosed with a "slightly fractured rib" – from coughing!! what a nightmar! they prescribed her painkillers, tried to tape her rib to relieve the pain, plus, she had to take some awfully strong cough medicine to not let the coughing fits make it worse. hope your ribcage will soon be better, adele! take it easy, rest, and recover soon!

A good example of how it must have looked like in Whistler around 100 years ago, when there was no color photography.
TIP: If you can't sit too long to write your precious comments, you should try it once in a standing or sitting position.
