Very well captured in flight.Good focus on the body and well placed in the shot.
However, it's not a Blue Darter, but a Migrant Hawker

in full flight? that's amazing! i once captured an exhausted darter who in a moment of spiritual weakness ; ) sat down on my hand to rest for a while, but never ever have i managed a picture in full flight. most of the times, i can't even focus my eyes on his "fairy-buzz", let alone the lense of my tiny camera! ; ))) the darter's many-colored abdomen – a gem! and his busy wings – wow! i guess it means he's hovering for just a nanosec until it's it's time for DART-OFF again: destination pond!! ; )) greetings, sabine.Dirk Leismann, 3.06.2012 at 9:20h

This dragonfly was photographed in the flight,and that's not easy at speed, but nevertheless
the sharpness of the dragonfly is absolutely perfect,
and therefore I give a PRO for this picture.

Like suspended in the air, only the transparent swirl of the wings betray how this dragon-fly manages to stay like this in the void.Great capture of its beautiful colours and print, wonderful makro, a Pro.
