In dem hier verlinkten Foto von Thomas Reitzel sieht man den bis zum Fahrplanwechsel im Dezember 2011 noch nach Brüssel verkehrenden Express international 296 "Jean Monnet" (seither fährt er nur noch bis Luxemburg). Den dadurch ausgefallenen Schnellzug von Luxemburg nach Brüssel wird seither von einem in seiner Zusammensetzung eher ausgefallenen IC ersetzt. Mein Foto vom 18. Mai 2012 zeigt ihn an der gleichen Stelle, wo Tom sein Foto 2009 gemacht hat. Man beachte die Unterschiede in der "Landschaftsgestaltung", die durch die Modernisierungsmaßnahmen an der Strecke bedingt sind.
