"Das größte und älteste polnische Planetarium wurde im Jahr 1955 zu Ehren des großen Astronomen Nikolaus Kopernikus gegründet. Es ist mit einem Projektor ausgestattet, welcher sich unter der 23 Meter messenden Kuppel befindet. In diese wird der künstliche Sternenhimmel projiziert. Im Kuppelsaal finden rund 400 Personen Platz."
