There is also a story behind this photo... the man here wanders from town to town - he lost his home and has no money - he is a painter and has no work.
I was on a photography trip with a good friend of mine in Rottweil, when we met this man - he was hungry, tired and sad.
After giving him a donation, he allowed me to make some portraits of him... this is a portrait of someone that knows hardship, but who keeps going - plodding on, not knowing what the future holds... I find this really brave and I really hope he will find some work, and happiness in his life.
