Im Mittelalter galten etliche Zauberpflanzen, z. B. Grünkohl (Brassica oleracea var. sabellica), Petersilie, Löffelkraut und andere Kräuter sowie Gewürze wie die Muskatnuss, als Aphrodisiakum.Es ist der Strunk, dem die Beachtung gebührt.
Wahrlich, meisterlich in Szene gesetzt.
