Anlie and I visited the Walter Sisulu Botanical Gardens yesterday. It is a lovely place, showing many of the South African flora in beautiful and natural surroundings.
This Aloe garden shows many of the South African indigenous aloes.
I wish you all a very Happy Easter
Hallo Deryck - wonderful capture of this garden - most interesting - many thanks for you wishes, and I wish to you and to your family HAPPY EASTER. Best regards, Jürg
great to let one's eyes indulge in a sunny and arid view on this cold european april day ; )) – we are experiencing a very bipolar weather these days: rain, sunshine, hail, night frost. hope the easterbunny is wearing long underpants, while hopping through the ice-rimed grass… ; )) happy easter, dear deryck and anlie! sabine
The aloe plants are very attractive but they can also be a little dangerous.
The tips can sting you if you're not careful.
Your "shot" is nice and painless.
Happy Holiday - A.
A very fine capture of this garden. The different parts of green are very well presented.
I wish you and your family Happy Easter !!
Best wishes from Ursula
It must have been a real pleasure to spend time in such a picturesque place? Beautifully captured these plants. I love the little red and yellow flowers most - so tiny against all these magnificent plants yet well noticeable due to their bright colours. And thus not at all less important:) Cheers, Viola
