Das ist keine Fotomontage, dieses Haus steht auf der abgebrochenen Brücke von Vernon. Das als Mühle gebaute Haus aus dem 14.jh steht auf einer Seine Brücke, die aus Holz gebaut war aber am Beginn des 19.Jhd. zerstört wurde.

This is NOT a mounted image, this House is really built onto the partly broken down bridge of Vernon
The old mill of Vernon lies straddling two piers of the ancient bridge over the river Seine. The half-timbered construction was probably build in the XVI th century. The wooden brige was definitively detroyed in the beginning of the XIXth century.

Das ist ja echt abgefahren!
Wie kommt man denn auf die Idee gerade da ein Haus hinzubauen. Oder hat das irgendwelche praktischen Vorteil, die sich mir auf die schnelle nur nicht so ganz erschließen?
