Nach ihrem packenden Auftritt beim vorjährigen V:NM-Festival in Graz mussten wir Alison Blunt einfach mit einem eigenen Projekt einladen. Zwei standen zur Auswahl, das Trio Barrel ist es geworden. Die Geigerin aus London, die längst von der Klassik zum Grenzgängertum konvertiert ist und als komplette Improvisationsmusikerin firmiert, findet in Hannah Marshall und Ivor Kallin zwei gleichgesinnte kongeniale Partner, die wie sie selbst dem London Improvisers Orchestra angehören.
