The Loch Ard Gorge is part of Port Campbell National Park, about 10 minutes drive west of The Twelve Apostles along the Great Ocean road.

It is an excellent place to see a visible example of the process of erosion in action.

I've heard a saying, that people travel to America for the nature, to Africa for the animals and to Asia for the people.
I would like to add: and to Austalia for the history of earth.
