Tintenfisch ist nicht direkt nach dem Fang zu genießen, er ist zäh und hart. Die Tinte muss entfernt werden. Durch das reiben an einem Stein und immer wieder waschen im Wasser wird er mürbe und kann danach gekocht werden.
