Der Kinabatangan River ist mit seinen 600 km der längste Fluß Sabahs und noch ein wahres Naturparadies, somit einer der besten Plätze in Malaysia Wildlife zu sehen. Unter anderem beheimatet der Sekundärwald Elefanten, Nasenaffen, Gibbons, Orang Utan, verschiedenste Schlangen und Reptilienarten, Eisvögel, Seeadler und Nashornvögel. So gibt es vom Boot aus viel am Flußufer zu entdecken.
