Am 05.02.2012 war das Schalkenmehrener Maar komplett zugefroren. Die Eisdicke betrug vom Rand bis etwa 15 m zur Mitte hin ca. 8 cm. Danach war das Eis noch etwa 5 cm dick.
Die ersten Eisangler waren an diesem sonnigen Tag auch schon vor Ort.
Die Kinder hatten großen Spaß.
Eine Woche später konnte das Maar überquert werden. Das Eis war nun ca. 17 cm dick.

Das Bild wurde aus 5 Freihandaufnahmen im Querformat zusammengestellt.
