Papua Nuova Guinea, Mare di Bismark, (giugno 2011)
Gamberetto (Periclimenes amboinensis) di un paio di cm. che vive in simbiosi con un crinoide (Cenometra sp.), echinodermi parenti stretti delle stelle marine, ripreso con un tempo molto lungo in modo da far venire lo sfondo blu.
Questa foto è stata premiata con la medaglia di bronzo al OUR WORLD UNDERWATER Competition, considerato il Super Bowl dei concorsi fotografici, nella categ. Macro Traditional, dove le foto non possono essere assolutamente ritoccate.
