Der Platz Bellecour, auch Platz Ludwig der Grosse genannt, ist der größte Platz von Lyon (62 000 M ²) und der Dritte größte Platz von Frankreich, nach dem Platz des Quinconces in Bordeaux (126 000 M ²) und der Platz de la Concorde in Paris (86 400 M ²). In seinem Zentrum befindet sich ein Standbild von König Ludwig der XIV.
Periodisch, wie hier auf dem Bild, befindet sich auch ein Riesenrad auf dem Platz.

La place Bellecour ou place Louis-le-Grand est la plus grande place de Lyon (62 000 m²) et la troisième plus grande place de France, après la place des Quinconces à Bordeaux (126 000 m²) et la place de la Concorde à Paris (86 400 m²). En son centre se trouve une statue équestre de Louis XIV.
Deux pavillons se trouvent sur la place et abritent des services de l'Office du tourisme, ainsi qu'un petit parc pour enfants, une fontaine, deux brasseries et périodiquement une grande roue.

Das Riesenrad sieht gigantisch hoch aus....der Blick von ganz oben muss ja fantastisch sein!
Wie klein doch die Menschen und die Reiterfigur im Vergleich wirken.....
Herrlich diese Aufnahme, so lerne ich ein Stückchen mehr von Frankreich kennen, vielen Dank!
