Während die Strasse schon im Dunkeln liegt und die Autos mit Licht fahren, bekommt Mt.Hood noch das letzte Abendlicht ab. Man glaubt nicht, dass der Berg etwa 80km entfernt ist.

Gerade der Kontrast zwischen dem majestätischen klaren Berg und der wuseligen dunklen Stadt mit Autos, Strommasten etc. gefiel mir an dem Motiv.
