in the thumb it looked like a hilarious long-necked creature bending over a book – the foot of the lamp being its head –, but sadly, enough i'm gradually losing this image now that i clicked. ; ))) love the "elaborate" light, your play with focus, and how – with a little "help" from your friend, the lamp – ; )), you created all those different height levels here! greetings, sabine. p.s.: the book sounds interesting! and don't you just love it, when strangers write about what you yourself know very intimately (or so one thinks)? shows things in a refreshingly different light… i once read bill bryson's humorous travel book about europe and enjoyed the chapter about hamburg tremendously… ; )))
thanks for that link (book) and.... I guess no-one globally) really knows people of other countries, cultures...
as nobody really knows the own (closest) people who sourround us...
as often we even don't know (understand) ourselves.
we just can try to understand and to try to be tolerant....
great idea lamp + book
greetings
ps: with our comments you know a tiny bit of us too.... right?
;-)
Clever wide angle distortion and focus - great those tones too, and the book and your link make me curious, Leo, although one wonders about the author having more of an insight than local people !!!
cheers, Adele
