This photo was taken while Father-In Law's homestead in West Virgina. USA,, over the Christmas holiday in 2011. It consists of a mossy piece of driftwoond standing on end against a painted concrete block wall. I was drawn in by the contrasts of the organic versus inorganic materials as well as the colors.

Welcome to the fc, Howard.
I like your composition and those wonderful colours.
Is it possible you applied an artistic filter here - like a watercolour filter?
It might well be the model for a painting, those structures and contrasts.
A pro.
Best regards,
Susana

the difference of organic and inorganic is not to be seen it is just one great picture of color and structure that fascinated with the harmony of color and the structure of the picture. I like it.

regards Arnica
