1992 war die heile Welt der rumänischen Waldbahnen noch (fast) in Ordnung. die Resita-Lok 764.449 der C.F.F. (Caile Ferate Forestiere) Moldovita bringt einen Leerzug zum damaligen Endpunkt der Strecke beim Km 26, Rososa.

Back in 1992, the small world of the remaining Romanian forest railways was still unspoilt and most of the lines saw regular, if not daily use of steam locomotives used to bring the empty trucks to the forest und timber loads back to the sawmills. Ten years later, all would be nearly over, with just one line remaining at Viseu de Sus.
This is Resita-built 764.449 of the Moldovita forest railway bringing a long train of empties to the very remote end of the line at Km 26, near Rososa, deep in the Carpathian forest...
