Southern Red Bishop - male

This time of the year they are everywhere. Their red feathers make them very easy to spot, but I think that is the idea. The Red bishop male only dresses in this beautiful attire during the mating season. Otherwise he has a dull brownish outfit

no, not aerobics, viola!! as a child of the internet age, he's PLANKING in mid-air!! ; ))) and trying to make the photographer get the perfect shot for the planking hall of fame (see below; read "notable incidents" and "other variations" – it's hilarious! ; ))) his bright orange throat looks so beautiful, deryck! and i love how he literally seems to be made for the grassworld surrounding him: his wings, accurately touching the sides as planking rules require, look like dry grass themselves! greetings, sabine.
