Er ist 1741m hoch und liegt mit am Grat zur Winterstaude. Die Schafalpe in der vorhergehenden Aufnahme befindet sich links in der verdeckten Bergseite.

Rechts von der Bergspitze ist der im Oberallgäu befindliche Schlossberg bei Oberstaufen zu sehen (länglicher oberhalb bewaldeter Grat), den Autofahrern der Deutschen Alpenstrasse (B308) bekannt durch "Schlossberg" - und "Paradies".
