Porthcurno after the storm.

13th December 2011. I took a chance on finding a break in the weather and went down to Porthcurno to see what the storm had done to the ocean. Luckily I arrived just as the rainclouds cleared briefly and in time to catch this couple dodging the waves. Despite the sunshine the wind was icy cold and blowing offshore so the waves piled up nicely before breaking.

You exposed very well for the incoming waves maintaing details. The two people below you captured from your viewpoint gives the perspective of height to this photo. Also the distant background adds to this well balanced photo. Superbly done.
