a beautiful and peaceful looking place indeed! love the composition of this picture, with the big lonely tree and its shadow silently communicating with the boardwalk that's passing it by ; )! so this is all swampy grounds, right? and if you left the boardwalk and stepped down into the grass, walked a few steps, you'd probably sink in?? it's amazing the roots of the tree can keep it securely "anchored" – a special kind of tree?? or an especially stupid question?? ; )) greetings, sabine.Light Princess, 27.08.2011 at 9:32h

As I remember ‘Hohes Venn’, hiking on these boardwalks is relaxing for feet and brain alike.Again, your picture is well composed.
