sie wachsen und wachsen und wachsen...
da kommt schon fast ein wenig Wehmut auf, wenn man die "Kleinen" so grosswerden sieht. Aber die Natur hat ja keine wahl. Grundsätzlich sind diese Vögel ja Zugvögel und von daher bleibt nicht wirklich viel Zeit "sie flugfähig zu machen" Ganz davon abgesehen, dass sie je eher sie fliegen können natürlich auch sicherer vor eventuellen Feinden sind.

Ob das alles so stimmt? Keine Ahnung. Aber so erkläre ichs mir halt selbst. :-)
