Der Urwald Sababurg im Kerngebiet des Reinhardswaldes wurde bereits 1907 auf rund 61 ha. Fläche als eines der ersten deutschen Naturschutzgebiete ausgewiesen.
Mächtige (oder ehemals mächtige) mehrere jahrhunderte alte Eichen prägen das Waldgebiet.

Oh, dort in der Gegend bin ich immer wieder einmal, zumal ich ja aus Hessen komme :-) .

Schön aufgefasstes Bild, bei dem nur die CAs im oberen Bereich etwas stören. Mit welchem Glas hast Du denn die Aufnahme gemacht?
