One of our travel spots in April 2011. Due to the weather conditions only a small portion of Yellowstone N.P. (a part of Mammoth Hot Springs) was accessible. The boardwalks were still blocked by up to 20 inches of snow. However, it was a beautiful day.

April ist doch noch zu früh. Leider war nur ein kleiner Teil der Mammoth Hot Springs frei begehbar. Auf Straßen und Wegen lag noch bis zu 50cm Schnee. Schade zwar, aber es war trotzdem ein schöner Tag.

Im vergangen Jahr waren wir im Februar dort und jetzt steht unsere Arbreise dorthin bald bevor.
Ich freue mich über dieses wunderbare Foto. Und habe auch schon mitbekommen, dass es im Yellowstone im vergangenen Winter soviel Schnee gab, wie selten zuvor.
