Aufgenommen bei einer unserer Bootstouren auf dem Lake Malawi.

Hier entsteht der Trockenfisch aller Art: Utaka zum Beispiel, Buntbarsche, oder Usipa, eine Sardellenart.
In Malawi essen die Menschen zum Trockenfisch meistens Nsima, den landestypischen Mais- oder Cassavabrei, der in Ghana Fufu heißt, in Südafrika Mielliepap ,oder in Tansania Ugali.
