thank you for changing that tune in my head from "winter wonderland" to good old satchmo's "wonderful world" ; )))! love how your title is "blowing across the picture" like a gust of wind coming from one's memory – oops, too many metaphors and images in this sentence, sorry ; ))! like everyone else i like the bright, almost artificial-looking red of the snow-coverd roses very much, for it makes us think intensely about that color, "red", triggering all those random images in our head, of those things we usually associate with the color red: blood, of course, love, fire maybe, snow-white and rose-red, danger, rage, oh yes, and "red roses too" ; ))! lg, sabine.
