Die offizielle Bezeichnung für dieses Gebäude ist "30 St Mary Axe", häufig aber The Gherkin (englisch für (Einlege-)Gurke) oder Swiss-Re-Tower genannt. Es ist ein 180 m hoher Wolkenkratzer im Finanzbezirk der City of London. Er wurde 2001 bis 2004 durch die Stararchitekten Ken Shuttleworth und Sir Norman Foster an der Stelle der durch einen IRA-Anschlag zerstörten Baltic Exchange erstellt. Er ist ein Büroturm des Rückversicherers Swiss Re.

Ob man sich mit dem Inhalt anfreunden muss? Die "Gurke" aber ist stark. Du hast ein feines Licht und eine dynamische Perspektive gewählt!
