Mt. Connor liegt etwa 30 km abseits vom Highway.
Der 5 km lange und 2 km breite, bis zu 350m hohe Tafelberg (850m über NN) zählt neben Ayers Rock und The Olgas zu den imposanten Natursehenswürdigkeiten der Gegend.

Hallo Helga,
danke, daß Du uns die 3. Natursehenswürdigkeit hier zeigst. Warst Du noch näher dran? Wenn ja - Fotos zeigen! Wir haben es leider noch nicht zum Mt. Connor geschafft - aber auch schon aus der Ferne fasziniert mich der Berg.

Der Mt. Conner wird oft mit dem Uluru verwechselt, weil man ihn auf der Fahrt dorthin als erstes sieht.

From a distance Mt Connor has often been mistaken for Ayers Rock (Uluru)
