This is St Michaels Mount just offshore from the tiny village of Marazion in Cornwall. This is the tourists leaving the Mount via the causeway which is exposed at low tide. During the summertime there are always people crossing the causeway to visit the castle whenever the tide is far enough out. Sometimes they get halfway and have to go back and use the little ferry boats as the tide sweeps in. From a distance I am reminded of the 'matchstick men' in the artist L S Lowry paintings.
