Playing often as a goalkeeper, I found that on the pitch I have just one enemy... The Ball.

It uses the adverse players as tools, only to find a way past me. As a keeper I have only two strong emotions... the joy of saving, deflecting the oncoming ball as far away from my post, and the inevitable... that split second when I realise that I will pick the ball from the net. In that moment, the light goes dark, and the earth opens...
