Minute differences in density between dark and light grains of sand can render such patterns as surf recedes slowly on a shallow beach.

Beautifully seen and expertly rendered. Subtle botanicals in that sand. Root structures of granular texture and above ground blooms of graceful petals speak to me in luscious, rich, yet oh so gently natural tones.
