Lost in the Concrete Jungle

A little turquoise ferry in False Creek .... I tried to makes the highrises behind more threatening. Below images of the red and blue ferries, always a rewarding subject for me.
Editing done in ACDSee Pro - crayon vignette - and it is the same technique as for the Inukshuk

The highrise don't seem threatening to me, quite the opposite: the editing has given them a certain lightness. I like this photo. Like a work of art it concentrates the eye on the ferry which, small and thrusting, makes its way towards the viewer.

i just love ferry boats! i think i've said it before, and it's a "stolen line", but i totally agree with mc dreamy here ; )))! great original editing, adele! to me it looks as though the little ferry is the last survivor of a major catastrophe – a phoenix from the ashes… hugs, sabine.

Eine mutige Bea wurde hier belohnt :<) sehr schön für das Auge und man bewundert jedes Detail :-) man(n) stellt sich auch die Frage,wie in sooo kurzer Zeit so viele hohe Häuser gebaut werden konnten :)
