Auf dem Bild ist sein Orginaltrikot zu sehen, was Er im Endspiel um den Pokal der Pokalsieger 1966 in Glascow gegen den FC Liverpool getragen hat.

Das Finale bestritten Borussia Dortmund und der FC Liverpool im Hampden Park von Glasgow am 5. Mai 1966. Dortmund gewann das Spiel mit 2:1 nach Verlängerung und wurde somit erster deutscher Europapokalsieger. Torschützenkönig wurde Lothar Emmerich von Borussia Dortmund mit 14 Treffern, so viele wie kein anderer Spieler jemals in einer Saison des Europapokals der Pokalsieger erzielen konnte.

Ja, Emma hat immer gekämpft auf`n Platz und sonst auch - aber den schwersten Kampf hat er leider verloren!Wenn ich an Emma denke fällt mir automatisch das Wahnsinnstor gegen Spanien bei der WM 1966 ein !
Zusammen mit Sigi Held und den anderen Recken hat er im selben Jahr den Europacup aufgemischt und letztlich auch gewonnen ( Sonntagsschuss von Libuda )
Das war noch einer mit dem man sich identifizieren konnte , im Gegensatz zu den heutigen Primadonnen auf dem grünen Rasen!
